1. What is the weather like in your country?

The weather in Azerbaijan is quite diverse due to its varied geography. We experience all four seasons distinctly. Summers can be very hot, especially in the lowland areas, while winters can be quite cold, particularly in the mountainous regions. Spring and autumn are generally mild and pleasant.

2. Do you have a favorite type of weather? What is it and why?

My favorite type of weather is the mild, sunny days of spring. The temperatures are comfortable, and the blooming flowers and greenery create a beautiful and refreshing atmosphere. It’s the perfect time for outdoor activities and enjoying nature.

3. How does the weather affect your mood?

The weather significantly affects my mood. Sunny and mild weather tends to uplift my spirits and make me feel more energetic and positive. On the other hand, prolonged periods of gloomy or rainy weather can sometimes make me feel a bit melancholic.

I dress according to the weather to stay comfortable. In hot weather, I wear light, breathable fabrics such as cotton. During colder months, I layer up with warm clothing, including sweaters and coats. For rainy days, I always have a waterproof jacket and an umbrella handy.

I find rainy days quite calming and cozy. They provide a good excuse to stay indoors, read a book, or watch movies. However, if it rains for too many days in a row, it can become a bit depressing and inconvenient for outdoor plans.

The weather heavily influences my plans. I tend to schedule outdoor activities when the forecast is favorable and plan indoor activities when bad weather is expected. It’s essential to stay flexible and adapt to the weather conditions to make the most of my time.

In my opinion, the best season in Azerbaijan is spring. The weather is mild and pleasant, and the landscape comes to life with blooming flowers and greenery. It’s the perfect time for outdoor activities and cultural festivals.
