1. What is your favorite food?

My favorite food is sushi. I love its delicate balance of flavors and textures, as well as the freshness of the ingredients. It’s a versatile dish that offers a wide variety of options.

2. How often do you eat out?

I eat out about once or twice a week. It’s a nice way to try different cuisines and enjoy a meal without the effort of cooking and cleaning up.

3. Do you prefer homemade food or restaurant food? Why?

I prefer homemade food because it’s usually healthier and more tailored to my taste. Cooking at home also allows me to experiment with different recipes and ingredients, and it brings a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment.

4. Can you cook? What do you like to cook?

Yes, I can cook. I enjoy making a variety of dishes, but I particularly like cooking traditional Azerbaijani meals such as plov (pilaf) and dolma. I also like to experiment with international cuisines.

A popular dish in Azerbaijan is plov, a rice-based dish that is often cooked with meat, vegetables, and a variety of spices. It’s considered a staple food and is commonly served during special occasions and celebrations.

7. Have you ever tried any unusual foods? What were they?

Yes, I have tried some unusual foods, such as escargot (snails) in France and haggis in Scotland. Both were unique culinary experiences that expanded my palate and appreciation for different cultures.

8. Do you think food is an important part of culture? Why?

Absolutely, food is a vital part of culture. It reflects the history, traditions, and values of a community. Sharing and enjoying traditional foods helps preserve cultural heritage and strengthens social bonds.

9. How do you feel about healthy eating?

I believe healthy eating is crucial for overall well-being. A balanced diet provides the necessary nutrients for energy and health, and it can prevent chronic diseases. I try to incorporate a variety of fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains into my meals.

10. What food would you like to try that you haven’t yet?

I would like to try authentic Japanese kaiseki, a multi-course meal that emphasizes seasonal ingredients and intricate presentation. It’s a highly refined culinary experience that I’ve heard a lot about and would love to experience firsthand.
